Our Junior Development Program is proudly supported by Queenslanders Credit Union.
We’re currently recruiting junior riders of all levels of ability up to 19 years old to participate in our program.
Recognising that the cost of a bicycle and kit, as well as membership fees, may be beyond the reach of some families, Ipswich Cycling Club has initiatives in place to make participation more affordable. Please get in touch for details.
The club has an arrangement with Willowbank Raceway that enables us to conduct training clinics in a safe (closed road circuit) environment. The circuit that we use for our crits will also be open for the use of other club members during junior training sessions; as long as they don’t get in the way of course!
Our bicycle clinics teach the fundamentals of bicycle riding and safety to children of all ages. Club Coach (and World Champion) Craig Taylor teaches small groups in a very safe setting. These classes are aimed at all kids who ride, not just those who want to race.
Contact the Club Secretary for more details.
Queenslanders Credit Union has provided banking services to our local communities for over 50 years, but they can very proudly say they’re not a bank.
They’re 100% Australian and owned by their customers. As they don’t need to make massive profits to keep shareholders happy, their sole focus is providing the best possible products and services, while giving back to the community.
It’s all part of their promise to provide banking that’s personal.
